Also known as a Dombek, Darbakkah or Egyptian Tabla, this is a bellydancer’s soulmate. It is important to learn these fundamental bellydance rhythms if you perform with a live drummer, or even if you use canned music, so that you can keep a beat and an awareness of the mood.
